'Cherry Blossoms' by Alison Simons
£695.00Price
This piece is remeniscent of Japanese art, created using fluid paints which have been manipulated with air pressure, palette knives and brush. The water element inspired the whole painting, as it is made from 'paint skins' - sheets of paint formed by paint dripping off the edge of a canvas during the painting process. The patterns in the skins form organically through the dripping process and in this case are representational of water. This calming scene is somewhere you can imagine losing a few hours relaxing in.
