'From British Camp' by Lesley Brankin

From Lesley's Malvern Hills Sketchbook series, this work was developed from sketches drawn en plein air during a walk up British Camp and looking north along the ridge of the Malvern Hills.

A rarely seen monochrome depiction of the Malvern Hills, Lesely's mark making is done with card and unusual tools as opposed to traditional brush work. This technique lends itself to the simple serenity of Lesley's work.
