Service Description

Discover the captivating world of fluid acrylic painting in this beginner-friendly workshop. You’ll learn the theory behind this versatile medium, learning how to mix and test paints correctly, and be introduced to the range of tools and ingredients used in fluid techniques. Participants will also learn how to properly prepare the canvas for this style of painting, and explore various techniques to create three unique paintings, gaining confidence in their creative skills and developing an understanding of colour, texture, and composition. Your artworks will remain in the gallery to dry and can be collected afterwards. All materials are included in the price, and you’ll be supplied with some items to help with your fluid acrylic journey at home. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have not only three beautiful pieces of art but also the knowledge, techniques, and confidence to experiment with fluid acrylics on your own. After the class, you’ll have full access to guidance and support from Ali if you continue creating at home. Additionally, an optional finishing and varnishing service is available to purchase on the day to give your pieces a professional touch. It's recommended you wear old clothing - an apron and gloves will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch or take advantage of the many food outlets in the town. Light refreshments will be available throughout the day.
