Silver and Gem Earrings 14th August

Service Description

This is a short drop-in workshop in which you will learn how to use silver wire and and semi precious gems to create a pair of earrings. You will be shown the different tools and how to use them correctly, and you will be taught the techniques to thread your choice of beads onto the wire and to wrap the wire to finsh the earrings. You may choose hooks or stud fittings depending on availability. All wire and fittings are sterling silver and the beads are a variety of semi-precious gems. All materials and tools are provided. Janis will be in the gallery from 11.45am-4.00pm. You are welcome to drop-in whenever is convenient for you. The workshop will likely last 30-45 miutes depending on how fast you work, so we recommend you start by 3.15pm to give yourself time to complete your artwork. You can pay on the day if you wish, or to avoid disapointment book now. Please note on booking, the duration says 4.5 hours - this is the total time it is available for - please refer to the above for duration of the workshop. If you want to prebook, the time available says 11.45 - select this timeslot, but you can start any time after this as above.
