Pot with Lid by Les Rucinski

A new series from Les Rucinski, this pot is made from Malvern clay which has been hand processed from Les's own garden. The items in this series are incredibly light to hold. The top of this pot is dipped very slightly so that the lid fits comfortably within.

Les is influence by sgraffito and the engraved lines in this series have a beautiful organic flow. Glazed in subtle brown and grey colours the base leaves the original rich russet colour of the clay exposed. There are small details everywhere you look. Even the bottom of the pot has concentric rings pleasing to the eye.
